Einar Holst

Chief Operating Officer at STRYDE

Einar Holst has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Einar started their career as a Field Engineer in the SLB Tech&Field program at Schlumberger in 2007. Einar then worked as an Electrical Engineering Intern at Siemens Medical Solutions in 2006. From 2009 to 2011, they served as an Electrical Project Engineer for marine seismic and electromagnetic projects at WesternGeco.

Einar then took on the role of Project Manager at WesternGeco from 2011 to 2015. Einar was responsible for the development and commercialization of the UniQ cabled land seismic acquisition system, managing a team of engineers and ensuring successful delivery of projects. Einar also worked on a confidential concept and feasibility project and successfully demonstrated a new seismic sensor measurement concept.

In 2018, Einar joined Shearwater GeoServices as a Program Manager for Shearwater Engineering. Einar served in this role until 2020 when they transitioned to STRYDE. At STRYDE, they initially took on the position of Head of Engineering before being promoted to Chief Operating Officer.

Throughout their career, Einar has demonstrated strong technical and management skills, successfully delivering projects on time and on budget.

Einar Holst's education history begins in 2001 when they attended the Befalskole BSKA - Norwegian Officer School for a degree in Befalskole. Following this, from 2003 to 2007, they pursued a Master of Electrical and Electronic Engineering degree at the University of Bristol. In 2005-2006, they participated in an exchange program at FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg, focusing on Electrical and Electronic Engineering. Most recently, from 2018 to 2020, Einar Holst studied Business Administration and Management, General, earning an Executive MBA i økonomisk styring og ledelse degree from the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH).
