Bret Barclay

Bret Barclay has extensive experience in quality engineering and project management, currently serving as a Senior Staff Quality Engineer and Project Manager at Stryker since December 2013, focusing on non-conforming materials and supplier engagement. Prior to this role, Bret served as a Commander in the US Navy for 27 years, where responsibilities included project management and compliance with safety and environmental requirements within the DDG1000 Program Management Office. Additional experience includes positions at Raytheon as a Principal Quality Engineer, Tellabs as a Quality Systems Manager, Marconi Communications managing Software Quality, and Texas Instruments in various engineering roles, complemented by service in the United States Air Force. Bret holds a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Southern Methodist University and the University of Central Florida, respectively.
