Gavin McDonald has extensive experience in finance, having served as a Senior Finance Business Partner at Stryker from April 2019 to March 2022, where responsibilities included partnering with senior executives and providing strategic insights to enhance financial outcomes across a $640m+ business. Prior to this, as Financial Controller in the UK, Gavin built a high-performing finance team and ensured compliance through effective leadership and restructuring. During a concurrent role as a Finance Trustee at Red Balloon Educational Trust, responsibilities involved overseeing financial governance and reporting for the charity. Gavin's prior positions at PwC spanned several years, where leadership in audit and assurance for diverse multinational clients was demonstrated, alongside strong stakeholder relationships. Gavin is currently a pro bono Governor at a primary school, overseeing significant budget management. Educationally, Gavin holds a BSc (Hons) in Applied Accounting from Oxford Brookes University and is a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).
