Luc Smeets

Luc Smeets is a seasoned IT professional with extensive experience in software architecture and IT management. Currently serving as Technical Outsource Manager at ICT Strypes, Luc acts as an intermediary between clients in the Netherlands and development teams in Bulgaria. At Boxx global expat solutions, Luc has been building customized database solutions since 2014, ensuring flexibility and consistency within complex data models. As the owner of Eagle IT Services, Luc provides tailored IT solutions spanning over 20 years across multiple sectors, including medical systems and consumer products. Previous roles include Software Architect positions at Lightyear, Philips Healthcare, and Varian Medical Systems, where Luc oversaw the development of innovative treatment room technologies and medical applications. Luc's career began at Philips ASA Lab and Heidelberg Contiweb, focusing on DVD recorder technology and printing industry solutions, respectively. Luc holds a Master's degree in Computing Science from Eindhoven University of Technology.
