Peter Belley

Peter Belley has extensive experience in leadership and technical roles within the engineering and filtration industries. Currently serving as CEO of STS Canada since April 2001, Peter Belley has been the director general of the Montreal office since January 2013. Prior to this, Peter Belley worked as the R&D and Marketing Manager at Sefar Filter Specialists Pty Ltd from June 1991 to July 2001, where responsibilities included managing sales and developing new territories in North America, as well as being the inventor of a microporous fluoropolymer film for fine particle filtration. Earlier in their career, Peter Belley was a Project Manager at Rio Tinto Alcan from January 1989 to June 1991, contributing to the startup of the oxalate plant and implementing a filtration system in the Bayer process. Peter Belley holds a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry and a Master's degree in Environmental Engineering Technology from Université de Sherbrooke, along with a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from Université du Québec à Chicoutimi.
