Chuck Kern

Chuck Kern is an experienced operations leader with a diverse background in manufacturing and business management. Currently serving as VP of Operations at SunSource since April 2012, Chuck has successfully built an operational network across five strategic business units. Previous roles include General Manager at HyPro Inc., where Chuck developed a profitability recovery plan for a distressed company, and Global Manufacturing Execution Director at Poclain Hydraulics, overseeing the Forecast to Delivery system for multiple industrial sites. Chuck has also held multiple leadership positions at Poclain Hydraulics, including VP of Operations in the US and Asia, where significant project turnarounds and factory expansions were achieved. Additional experience encompasses roles as Plant Manager at Leeson Electric, Director of Operations at Johnson Outdoors, and Business Unit Manager at Eaton Technologies. Chuck began a distinguished career as a Commissioned Officer in the US Army and National Guard after earning a Bachelor's degree in Production Operations Management from Bowling Green State University and a Master's degree in Business Administration from Aquinas College.
