Chuck Kern

Chuck Kern has extensive experience in operations management, currently serving as VP Operations at SunSource since April 2012, where responsibilities include building an operational network across five strategic business units. Prior to this role, Chuck was General Manager at HyPro Inc., leading a profitability recovery plan for an acquired distressed company. At Poclain Hydraulics, from September 2000 to July 2011, Chuck held multiple leadership roles including Global Manufacturing Execution Director, VP Operations US/Asia, and VP Manufacturing & Operations, where notable achievements included enhancing project plans for India and facilitating a significant factory relocation. Earlier career experience includes Plant Manager at Leeson Electric, overseeing multiple plants, and Director of Operations at Johnson Outdoors, where Chuck focused on integrating factory processes and optimizing production efficiency. Chuck holds a Bachelor's degree in Production Operations Management from Bowling Green State University and a Master's in Business Administration from Aquinas College.
