Peter Smith

Peter Smith has worked in various roles since 2010. Peter began their career as a Teaching Assistant and Assistant Lecturer at the University of Pretoria/Universiteit van Pretoria. In 2013, they joined Liberty Life Insurance Company as an Intern and Predictive Analyst. In 2018, Peter moved to Eighty20, where they worked as a Data Scientist and Consultant. During their time there, they were involved in building and implementing a predictive model to identify customers with a high propensity to migrate their shopping experience to online. In 2020, they joined Kazang as a Data Scientist, before moving to Stubben Edge in 2022, where they currently work as a Senior Machine Learning Engineer.

Peter Smith obtained a Master of Science in Mathematical Statistics and Probability from the University of Pretoria/Universiteit van Pretoria between 2009 and 2016. In 2021, they obtained a Deep Learning Specialization from Coursera.
