Johnny

Johnny Ma is a data scientist currently employed at StubHub since April 2024, focusing on improving buyer outcomes and extracting insights from text data within Operations. Previously, Johnny held roles at HBO Max as a content data scientist and intern, where predictive models for content valuation and viewership were developed. Experience also includes working as a graduate research assistant at New York University's Computational Intelligence, Learning, Vision, and Robotics Lab, and serving as a teaching assistant for a course on natural language processing. Earlier experience as an actuarial analyst at AIG involved building machine learning and NLP models for insurance pricing, along with various research roles at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, the University of Chicago, and other institutions. Johnny holds a Master of Science in Data Science from New York University and a Bachelor's degree from the University of Chicago in Economics and Art History.
