Dr. Lashanda Miller

Dr. LaShanda Miller, SHRM-SCP has extensive experience in the field of human resources. Their most recent role was as the Vice President of People and Culture at the Student Conservation Association, where they were responsible for shaping the organization's culture and implementing strategies to promote inclusion and diversity. Prior to that, Dr. Miller served as the Director/Head of People Practices and Divisional Human Resources Manager at City Facilities Management (FL) LLC, where they oversaw various HR functions and ensured compliance with HR laws and regulations. Dr. LaShanda also held leadership positions at ORAU, where they served as the Director of Talent Management and Section Manager for HR Development and Performance. In these roles, they developed and implemented HR strategies and programs, including the implementation of a learning management system and a coaching-based performance management system. Dr. Miller began their career as an Administrative Assistant at Mississippi State University and the University of Tennessee while completing their Master's degree. Dr. LaShanda also briefly worked as a Customer Support Specialist at Resource Optimization. Overall, Dr. Miller's work experience demonstrates their expertise in HR leadership, talent management, employee development, and fostering inclusive and diverse workplaces.

Dr. LaShanda Miller, SHRM-SCP has an extensive education history. Dr. LaShanda obtained their Doctor of Business Administration degree in Business Administration and Leadership from Capella University, graduating in 2022. Prior to that, they completed a Master's degree in Instructional Technology at Mississippi State University in 2005. Dr. LaShanda also holds a Bachelor's degree in Office Systems and Technologies from Mississippi State University, which they earned in 2004. Dr. Miller's education journey began with their high school diploma from Vicksburg High School in 1998, where they pursued general studies.
