Jonathon Daugherty

Jonathon Daugherty is a dedicated professional in the field of emergency management, currently serving as the Pacific Northwest Fire Crew Lead for the Student Conservation Association since March 2022. In this role, Jonathon leads a team of eight in fire mitigation and ecology during a twelve-week program focused on national parks and preventative measures for fire seasons. Jonathon is pursuing a Bachelor of Applied Science in Crisis/Emergency/Disaster Management at The University of Akron, where studies are ongoing from 2019 to 2023. Previous experience includes roles as a material handler at School Specialty, Inc., building patrol at Capital University, and a forestry technician with the Student Conservation Association, where responsibilities included hazard clearance and wildfire assessment.
