Jin Tanaka

Jin Tanaka is an accomplished environmental advocate with extensive experience in youth-led organizations focused on climate and energy issues. Currently serving as a Country Ambassador for the Global Youth Energy Outlook at Student Energy, Jin also holds notable positions such as LCOY WG Member at YOUNGO, Climate Ambassador at the Global Youth Climate Network, and Delegate at Mock COP26. Additionally, Jin is recognized as an exclusive member of the Sustainable Development Solutions Network and UN Sustainable Development Solutions Network – Youth. With a background in biodiversity as a member of the Global Youth Biodiversity Network, Jin has demonstrated leadership as Branch Manager at the University Student Chamber International. Jin's educational qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Studies from Kyushu University, where studies were completed from 2017 to 2021.
