Matthew Marksbury is the current President at Student Lap Tracker and has previous experience as a software engineer and programmer analyst. Matthew started their career in 2004 as a software developer II at Kagan Research before moving to California State University, Monterey Bay as a programmer analyst in 2006. In 2007, they joined PETCO Animal Supplies, Inc. as a programmer analyst/architect and was responsible for developing, testing and implementing functionality for PETCO's custom developed Ecommerce software platform and supporting applications. Matthew left PETCO in 2011 to join Schneider Electric as a software engineer, where they developed web user interfaces for various products in the PELCO by Schneider Electric product lines, using primarily Java and GWT. In their current role as President of Student Lap Tracker LLC, they are responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company's operations.

Matthew Marksbury has a Bachelor of Science in Web Development and Design from California State University, Monterey Bay. Matthew also went to Reedley School.
