Allison Benjamin

National Student Leadership Board at Students for a National Health Program

Allison Benjamin is an accomplished student leader and healthcare advocate currently serving on the National Student Leadership Board for Students for a National Health Program while also working as an Emergency Medical Technician at HealthPartners. As a co-founder and co-president of the Creighton University Chapter, Allison established the first combined undergraduate and medical school chapter in the nation and organized numerous events focused on universal healthcare education and advocacy. With significant research experience at the University of Minnesota, Allison contributed to studies on COVID-19's impact on healthcare workers and led initiatives for underrepresented students. Allison's leadership roles extend to the Honors Program Student Advisory Board, where strategic communication and student advocacy were prioritized. Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree at Creighton University, Allison's academic background includes Spanish and Hispanic Studies, Sociology, Biology, and Music, complemented by a study abroad program in Modern Languages at the University of Deusto.
