Troy Dayton is a seasoned entrepreneur and activist with extensive experience in the cannabis and drug policy reform sectors. As the Founder of Be Well Be Free since October 2020, Troy focuses on fostering joy and connection through online courses and coaching. Troy co-founded the Students for Sensible Drug Policy in 1997, facilitating significant drug policy victories across over 300 campuses worldwide. Other ventures include establishing Canopy Boulder, a seed-stage accelerator for cannabis start-ups, and the National Cannabis Industry Association, which advocates for cannabis businesses on Capitol Hill. Troy has held leadership roles in various organizations, including the Marijuana Policy Project and The Arcview Group, both pivotal in advancing cannabis legalization and connecting investors in the sector. With a background in development and advocacy for drug policy reform, Troy has contributed to the dialogue on psychedelics through work with the Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies and Interfaith Drug Policy Initiative. Troy's educational foundation comprises a degree from American University, earned between 1995 and 1999.
