Veli Waller

Veli Waller is an experienced leader in educational nonprofit services, currently serving as the Director of Programs and previously as the Senior Manager of College Success at Students Rising Above since August 2017. Veli has a strong background in program management, having held the role of Program Director at the West Contra Costa Public Education Fund from September 2012 to May 2018, and founded Compass Career & College Counseling, where the focus was on guiding students through the college application process from November 2009 to December 2016. Veli's earlier career includes positions as Region Manager at SCORE! Educational Centers and Director at Huntington Learning Center. Veli holds a Certificate in College & Career Advising from UC Berkeley Extension, a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology with Business Emphasis from UCLA, and a Teaching Credential from California State University - East Bay.
