Matthew Yip

Matthew (Hiu Yuen) Yip is an experienced architect currently serving as an EOT Trustee Director and Architect at Studio Egret West since January 2022. Previously, Matthew worked as an Architect at Allford Hall Monaghan Morris from August 2017 to January 2022, contributing to mixed-use masterplan projects in London. Earlier experience includes roles as a Part II Architectural Assistant at Gensler and a Part I Architectural Assistant during a Year Out Placement, where support was provided to design teams on large-scale master plans and collaborations with external consultants. A brief internship at the Office for Architectural Culture involved contributions to master plan projects in China. Matthew holds a Prof Practice Architecture Postgraduate Diploma (Pg Dip) from the University of Westminster, a Master’s Degree in Architecture, and a Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, both from the University of Nottingham. Matthew completed foundational education at Watford Grammar School for Boys.
