Brett Hughes

Brett Hughes has been working in the industry since 2008. In that time, they have held various positions at different companies. Brett started as the Co-Founder and Board Executive at Lacrosse the Nations in 2008, and then became the Executive Director in the same year. In 2012, they took on the role of Operator at B6 // MapMaker. Brett then moved to Factory Lacrosse in 2008, where they held the position of Co-Founder, Director, Coach, and Mentor. In 2011, they became a Partner at Another Best Day. In 2014, they became the Director of Strategy and Business Development at BuyHappy. In 2015, they took on the role of Senior Vice President at Thuzio, and in 2018 they became the Managing Director Global Sports at Julien's Auctions. In 2021, they became an Advisor at SigBee, and in 2022 they took on the roles of Operating Partner and Strategic Advisor at Empactful Capital LLC. Most recently, in 2020, they became the SVP // Growth and Creative Partnerships at StudioNow.

Brett Hughes received a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of Virginia, a Masters in Psychology from Pepperdine University Graduate School of Education and Psychology, and graduated from Upper Arlington High School. Brett also obtained a Learning How To Learn certification from Coursera in October 2018 and a Real Estate Broker/Sales Agent certification from Palm Realty Boutique | Real Estate Agency in August 2015.
