Mikael Karlsson

Mikael Karlsson is the Business Area President Waste Management Technology at Studsvik. Mikael has over 20 years of experience in the nuclear industry.

Mikael started their career as an analysis engineer at GSE POWER SYSTEMS AB, where they worked on reactor noise analysis, signal processing and analysis. Mikael then moved to Studsvik Nuclear AB, where they have held various positions over the past 17 years, including Head of Business Development and Vice President of Sales and Marketing. In their current role as Business Area President, Mikael is responsible for Studsvik's waste management technology business.

Mikael Karlsson completed a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Engineering Physics at Chalmers University of Technology.

Mikael Karlsson reports to Camilla Hoflund, CEO. They work with Arthur Digiovine - SVP, Business Development, Joakim Lundström - Business Area President Fuel and Materials Technology, and Niklas Karlsson - CFO.
