Gyles Hawkins

Gyles Hawkins has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Gyles'smost recent position is with Studyportals, where they serve as a Business Developer - EMEA. In this role, they help universities and other higher education institutions attract students to their programs by utilizing Studyportals' online education choice platform and advising on strategy refinement through data analysis. Prior to this, Gyles worked at Laureate Online Education as a Communications Manager, where they built and managed a student communications team responsible for support websites and social media channels. Gyles also held the position of Senior Enrolment Advisor at Laureate Online Education.

Earlier in their career, Gyles served as a Client Services Manager at HECC Alliance B.V. and as an Assistant Manager ICT at Wistron. Gyles also worked at Salestrac, initially as a Call Centre Supervisor and later as a Client Service Manager.

Gyles Hawkins has a diverse education history. In 1993, they attended South Devon College and obtained an Access to Higher Education Certificate in Science. Gyles then further pursued their education at the University of Exeter from 1994 to 1997. During this time, Gyles earned a Bachelor of Science in Education, focusing on Science and Science Education. Continuing their academic journey, they enrolled at The Open University from 2000 to 2003, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) degree in English Literature.
