Megan Walsh Loretz has been in the video production field for over a decade. In 2019, they began working as a Senior Video Editor for BookheadEd Learning, LLC /StudySync. Prior to this, they worked as the Director of Programs for the Community Media Center of Marin from 2010 to 2011. In 2011, they also took on the role of Senior Film Editor/Producer for Bridging Emcees, where they completed a feature length award winning documentary. In 2010, they completed an internship at Open Eye Pictures, a non-profit documentary film company based in Sausalito, California. During their internship they worked on compiling data, social media, outreach, promotions, logging footage, research for upcoming documentaries and other miscellaneous tasks.
Megan Walsh Loretz obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Film and Digital Media with a Minor in Psychology from the University of California, Santa Cruz between 2007 and 2009. Prior to that, they obtained an Associate of Arts - AA in Psychology from the College of Marin between 2004 and 2007. Additionally, they obtained a Color for Video Editors certification from LinkedIn in July 2021.
