Brad Reid

Deputy Fire Chief, Operations & Administration at Sturgeon County

Brad Reid, RET, CRSP, ABCP, has extensive experience in operational leadership and safety management. Since November 2002, Brad has served as Deputy Fire Chief of Operations and Fire Prevention at Sturgeon County, alongside a role as District Fire Chief. Prior to this, Brad worked at EPCOR from January 2016 to April 2018 as Manager of Distribution Support, focusing on contractor management and safety procedures. Additional experience includes a tenure at SMS Equipment from August 2007 to December 2015, where Brad held various roles, including Director of Occupational Health, Safety, and Environment (OHSE), Manager of Engineering & Continuous Improvement, and Corporate Manager of Technical Services. Brad holds a Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety from the University of New Brunswick and an Honors Diploma in Welding Engineering Technology from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology.
