Milad Asdaghi serves as the General Manager of Development Services at Sturgeon County since May 2021, with previous roles including Manager of Integrated Development and Land Services and Acting Manager of Planning and Development. Prior to Sturgeon County, Milad was a Professor of Marketing Management at Riga Business School from September 2017 to May 2021 and held the position of Principal at Breakwell Group. Milad's experience includes extensive leadership in community and economic development with the Town of Devon, as well as consultation roles in municipal collaboration and strategic planning. With a background that includes positions as Chief Administrative Officer for the Town of Morinville and Director of Community Services for the City of Cold Lake, Milad has a solid foundation in managing diverse community programs and services. Education includes a BSc in Environmental Economics and Policy from the University of Alberta and further studies at Harvard University. Milad is currently enrolled in an Executive Masters in Business Administration program at Riga Business School.
