Jimmy D. Webster III has a diverse and extensive work experience in the home decor industry. Jimmy D. first served as the CEO of Silk Road Industries Inc. from January 2001 to August 2007. During their time there, they focused on designing and importing silk lamp shades for mass market retail assortments in the United States. The company owned and operated a factory in Dongguan, China.
Following their role at Silk Road Industries Inc., Jimmy D. Webster III became the CEO of Silk Road LLC in September 2008. In this position, they specialized in importing and exporting home decor products, such as lighting, wall decor, accent furniture, and decorative accessories. Jimmy D. primarily focused on serving mass market/big box retailers across the country. The company's showroom was located in Downtown Memphis, near Beale Street.
Lastly, Jimmy D. Webster III joined StyleCraft Home Collection in July 2009 and served as the President. Jimmy D. played a crucial role in the company's import and export operations, dealing with a wide range of home decor products, including lighting, wall decor, mirrors, accent furniture, decorative accessories, and garden products. StyleCraft operated a China Office in Dongguan, China, with over 100 employees, as well as a Southaven Headquarters employing over 160 people. In February 2018, they were promoted to the position of CEO at StyleCraft Home Collection.
Jimmy D. Webster III completed their high school education at S.B.E.C from 1992 to 1996, earning a high school diploma in the field of study of High School. Following that, they attended Southern Methodist University from 1996 to 2000, obtaining a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business and Economics.
