Hetal Patel

Hetal Patel, PhD, currently serves as Senior Director of Program Management and Operations at Stylus Medicine, beginning in August 2025. Previously, Patel held the position of Senior Director Program Management at Prime Medicine, Inc., where achievements included co-leading a T-cell therapy partnership with BMS and successfully obtaining IND/CTA approval for a CGD gene-editing program. Before this role, Patel was Director of COVID-19 Vaccines Development at Takeda, managing global partnerships to facilitate Japan IND approval for COVID-19 vaccine trials. Early career experience includes various roles at GSK Vaccines, Novartis, Yale University, and the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, with a PhD in molecular and cellular biology from the University of Houston and a master’s degree in microbiology from Sardar Patel University.
