Álvaro Gómez Prado

Álvaro Gómez Prado has been in the IT industry since 2015. Álvaro began their career with an internship at HP CDS, followed by a Linux System Administrator role at GRUPO SOLUTIO. In 2018, they were an Administrador de sistemas Linux at Indra and a Cloud Support Associate (Linux) at Amazon Web Services. From 2019 to 2020, they worked as a Red Hat Infrastructure Engineer at Crossvale and a Technical Support Engineer at Red Hat, where they managed and troubleshot Openshift Container Platform and contributed to the global Red Hat knowledge management system. Currently, they are a Senior SUSE Rancher Support Engineer and a SUSE Rancher Support Engineer at SUSE, and will soon be a Customer Reliability Engineer at Styra.

Álvaro Gómez Prado received their Engineer's Degree in Computer Engineering from the Universidad de Santiago de Compostela in 2015. Álvaro also holds a Certificate in Advanced English from Cambridge English Language Assessment.
