Markus Mair

Markus Mair studied law at the Karl-Franzens-University Graz. He then worked, among other things, at Raiffeisen-Landesbank Steiermark AG, most recently as general manager. In addition to numerous management, board and supervisory board positions in various companies in the finance, insurance, media and energy sectors, Mair has been associated with the Styria Media Group AG as a member of the supervisory board since 2009 and has been CEO since 2013. Markus Mair has also been President of the Association of Austrian Newspapers (VÖZ) since 2018. As CEO, Markus Mair is responsible, among other things, for the media units of the group and several functions in the holding company (Group Finance, Legal Services, Data Protection, Board Projects, Corporate Communications).
