Michelle Schmidt

Michelle Schmidt is an experienced science educator and curriculum developer with a strong background in environmental science. Currently serving as a Science Curriculum Contractor, Michelle contributes to educational resources at SubjectToClimate, where responsibilities include reviewing climate change materials for teachers. Previous roles include Learning Specialist and Learning Facilitator at Shedd Aquarium and experience as a substitute teacher and student teacher in biology and AP Environmental Science. Michelle holds a Master of Education in Secondary Science from the University of Illinois at Chicago and a Bachelor of Science in Natural Resources and Environmental Science from Purdue University. Additionally, Michelle has a diverse background in human resources and marketing, enhancing educational initiatives with a focus on sustainability.
