Bob Trotter

Bob Trotter serves as the National President of the Submarines Association Australia since November 2014, overseeing a federation dedicated to supporting submarine personnel. With extensive experience as an Enrichment Lecturer for Princess Cruises and Cruise Maritime Voyages, Trotter delivers naval history lectures during cruises, focusing on significant maritime events and commemorations. Additionally, Trotter holds prominent roles such as Chairman of the Fremantle Submarine Heritage Committee within the Submarine Institute of Australia and member of the WA Maritime Museum Advisory Committee, contributing to the development of submarine heritage and community engagement. Trotter's involvement extends to the Australian Sailor Charitable Trust and sailing as a Senior Member at the Royal Perth Yacht Club. Educated at the Royal Naval Engineering College, Trotter possesses a BSc in Mechanical Engineering, complemented by a rich maritime background and commitment to preserving naval history.
