Ben Sharples

Ben Sharples has extensive experience in the marine industry. Ben currently serves as the Managing Director at Submarine Manufacturing and Products LTD (SMP LTD). Prior to this, they held various roles at Malin Group, including Director of Malin Marine Ltd and Director of Malin Aberdeen. Ben also worked at JFD Global as the Special Projects Director (India) and the Business Execution Director. Before that, they served as the Technical Director at JFD and the Managing Director at James Fisher Defence. Throughout their career, Ben has been responsible for project delivery, customer relations, and business development in the marine engineering field.

Ben Sharples earned a Bachelor's Degree in Civil and Structural Engineering with Offshore Engineering from U.M.I.S.T from 1993 to 1996. Before that, they attended Ulverston Victoria High School from 1988 to 1993.
