Marek Tyrpa

Marek Tyrpa has extensive work experience in the software engineering field. Marek currently works as a Senior Software Engineer at Submittable since September 2022. Prior to that, they were a Senior Software Engineer at Bright from June 2021 to August 2022. Marek also held the position of Senior Software Engineer at AVEVA from February 2020 to June 2021. Before that, Marek worked at Deutsche Börse, where they were a Cloud Architect from July 2019 to February 2020 and an Applications Developer from July 2008 to July 2019. In their role as an Applications Developer, they contributed to the development of the Eurex T7 Cloud Simulation product using web2py and Python. Marek's earlier experiences include working as a Developer at Hubbard One from October 2006 to May 2007, an eBrokerage Engineer at Calyon Financial from July 2005 to October 2006, and a Customer Technical Support at Deutsche Boerse Systems from September 2003 to July 2005. Marek started their career as a Software Support at Visual Insights from March 2001 to July 2001, and as a Tech Support at AIS from January 1998 to February 1999.

Marek Tyrpa received their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from DePaul University, where they studied from 1996 to 2002. After a few years, they pursued further education and completed their Master of Science degree in Business Information Systems from the DePaul Driehaus College of Business between 2005 and 2008.
