James Wang

James Wang has a diverse work experience spanning over more than two decades. James worked as a Principal Pipeline Engineer at Subsea 7 starting from February 2019. Prior to that, they served as the VP - Advanced Engineering at The Jukes Group from 2017 to February 2019. From 2016 to 2017, they were a Project Manager/Business Development at Houston International Service. James held the position of VP - US Operations at New Times Energy from 2013 to 2015. Before that, they worked at Woodgroup Kenny as a Subsea Pipeline Manager and Senior Consultant/Project Manager from 2006 to 2013. James'searlier roles include Senior Mechanical Engineer positions at I2KSoft and Shell Oil Company from 2004 to 2006 and 2002 to 2004, respectively. James started their career as a Senior Project/Mechanical Engineer at Dell Computer Corp. in 1995, where they worked until 2002.

James Wang attended the Daqing Petroleum Institute from 1980 to 1984, where they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree in Mechanical Engineering. James then went on to study at the China University of Petroleum in Beijing from 1984 to 1987, earning a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Mechanical Engineering. Continuing their education, Wang pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Petroleum Engineering at the University of Alaska Fairbanks from 1992 to 1994. Finally, they attended Texas State University from 1996 to 1998, completing a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Science.
