Rafael Anzures

Rafael Anzures is a seasoned marine professional with extensive experience in vessel management and engineering. Currently serving as a Vessel Manager at Subsea7 since September 2022, Rafael previously held the position of Port Engineer for the Q4000 at Helix Energy Solutions Group from October 2013 to October 2022, focusing on compliance and operational safety. Prior to that, Rafael worked at DNV as Deputy Station Manager and Senior Marine Surveyor for over nine years, contributing to marine survey operations in New Orleans and Veracruz. Rafael's career spans over 14 years of chief engineering roles on various vessels, complemented by experience as a 1st Engineer and Port Engineer. Rafael holds a degree in Marine Engineering from Esc.Nautica Mercante de Tampico, earned between 1985 and 1988.
