Şahin Kaplan

Şahin Kaplan is an experienced security professional currently serving as the Country Security Manager and Advisor to the SIA Project at Subsea 7 since November 2021. Previously, Şahin held the position of Security Consultant at the Home Office from January 2020 to November 2021, and served as Security Manager at Star Refinery from January 2018 to January 2020. Şahin's extensive background includes roles as Operations Manager at Esfor Security Consulting Inc., Turkey Security Manager at Kimberly-Clark, and First Degree Security Director and Police Chief Inspector at the Turkish National Police, where Şahin worked from June 1988 to April 2015. Additionally, Şahin was the Head of Presidential Security for the United Nations from April 1996 to April 1997. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Applied Science in Homeland Security from the Police Academy of Turkey, as well as studies at Anadolu University and Ankara University, complemented by training at the Police College.
