Stewart Munro

Stewart Munro, CEng MIMechE, serves as the IOGP Standards Committee Subsea7 Representative and has been with Subsea7 since October 2011, holding various engineering management positions, including Group Engineering Manager and Deputy Group Chief Engineer. Key contributions include supporting the VP Engineering in developing processes and coordinating technical activities, as well as executing critical projects such as the Seagreen Windfarm Project and technology development in the North Sea and Canada. Prior experience includes mechanical engineering roles at ConocoPhillips and LifeScan, focusing on rotating equipment and operations engineering. Stewart holds an MEng with Distinction in Mechanical Engineering from Heriot-Watt University and has completed multiple upskilling modules in renewable energy and data science.
