Thierry Fabre

Thierry Fabre has extensive experience in the engineering and operations sectors, currently serving as the Director of Engineering for the Pipeline Group at Subsea 7 since 1998. In this role, Thierry oversees engineering activities for offshore pipeline installations worldwide, managing a team of 175 engineers. Additionally, Thierry has held various managerial positions within Subsea 7, including Operations Manager for the Global Project Center and Project Operations Manager for the Chevron Lianzi Angola-Congo project. Previous roles include Vessel Operations Manager for the Seven Polaris in Nigeria and Brazil, as well as management of 110 engineers and technicians in para-petroleum engineering. Thierry's earlier experience includes a mechanical engineering position at DCN and military service, highlighted by achieving a world speed record in the large sailing vessels category. Thierry holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Université de Toulouse Paul Sabatier and a further degree in Naval Architecture from ENSTA Paristech.
