Hamish McKenzie

Hamish McKenzie is the co-founder and COO of Substack. Hamish was previously an editorial advisor at Kik Interactive, Inc., a lead writer at Tesla, and a features editor at Time Out Hong Kong. Hamish has also worked as a reporter for PandoDaily and as a journalist for the Independent.

Hamish McKenzie has a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature/Letters from the University of Otago and a Master of Arts in Journalism from Western University. Hamish is also a graduate of Y Combinator.
