Hamish McKenzie

Hamish McKenzie is the co-founder and Chief Writing Officer at Substack, a platform that simplifies starting a paid email newsletter for writers. Hamish has previous experience at Kik Interactive, Inc. as an Editorial Advisor, Tesla as a Lead Writer, PandoDaily as a Reporter, Time Out Hong Kong as a Features Editor, and various other journalism roles. Hamish holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature/Letters from the University of Otago, a Master of Arts in Journalism from Western University, and has participated in the Y Combinator program in 2018.
