Noah Millman

Noah Millman is an accomplished author and critic with extensive experience in writing and the arts. Currently serving as an author at Substack since March 2021 and a film and theater critic for Modern Age Magazine since 2018, Millman has also contributed as a writer, director, and producer at Gone Fishing Media since 2014. Previous roles include columnist at The Week from January 2015 to April 2022, senior editor and theater critic at The American Conservative from 2012 to 2017, and writer/director for Public Speaking and Gone Fishing short films. Millman has a solid background in finance, having worked as managing director of structured credit products at KBC Financial Products from 2000 to 2010 and as an equity derivatives structurer at The D. E. Shaw Group from 1993 to 1999. Millman earned a Bachelor of Arts in History from Yale University in 1992.
