Matt Terenzio

Matt Terenzio has a diverse work experience in engineering and web development. Matt is currently working as the Director of Engineering at Subtext since September 2020. Prior to that, they held the same role at The Tylt from September 2018 to September 2020, where they also served as the Lead Product Engineer from July 2016 to September 2018. Matt is also the Founder of Riverbank Ventures since January 2001. In addition, they have worked as the Director of Technology at Distro from October 2015 to July 2016, as a Full Stack Developer at Crain Communications from December 2014 to August 2015, and as a Web Developer at 21st Century Media / Digital First Media from January 2012 to June 2014. Matt Terenzio also has experience as a Web Development Director at The Hour from June 2006 to January 2012 and as a Web Developer at Southern CT Newspapers Inc./Tribune Interactive from 1998 to 2006. Matt has a background in music as well, having worked as a Rock Star from 1990 to 2010. Matt Terenzio has also been involved in various projects, including Project Fission, which explored structured journalism and digital narratives, and received a Knight Foundation Prototype Grant for it.

Matt Terenzio attended the University of Connecticut from 1986 to 1996, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Language and Literature. In 2002 and 2003, they pursued their education at Marlboro College Graduate & Professional Studies, completing a Master of Science degree in Internet Engineering.
