Courtney Welch

Courtney Welch has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Courtney currently works as the Director of Marketing, Brand Strategy, and Communications at Suburban Sports Group since June 2021. Prior to that, they had their own photography business called Courtney Welch Photography, specializing in senior photos, family photos, and creative sessions.

Courtney also worked as a Life Coach, Yoga Instructor, and Retreat Leader at Inspired By Movement since February 2012. Courtney served as a catalyst to support clients in becoming more effective leaders and challenged them to access their skills and abilities. Additionally, Courtney was an Independent Distributor for Young Living Essential Oils from November 2014 to December 2021, helping people enhance their wellness and spirituality through essential oils.

In the past, Courtney held positions such as Manager of Social Media and Communications at Bally Sports Detroit, Action Hero for Women's Health Magazine, Ambassador for Mantra Vie and LOLE Rochester, Yoga Instructor at New Species Crossfit and Shanti Yoga, LLC. Courtney has a background in leading yoga classes, teaching workshops, and promoting fitness and wellness.

Courtney Welch earned a Bachelor's degree in Journalism from Michigan State University, where they studied from 1998 to 2002. In 2012, they attended The Coaches Institute (CTI), completing 104 hours of training in Life Coaching. In February 2013, Courtney obtained a certification as a Professional Co-Active Coach from The Coaches Training Institute. Courtney also obtained a Paddlefit Level 1 & 2 certification from Paddlefit in July 2014.
