Claire Bartkus

Claire Bartkus has extensive experience in educational leadership, primarily within the Success Academy Charter Schools since July 2012. As the Department Head of Learning Strategy & Operations, Claire leads strategic planning initiatives to enhance organizational effectiveness. Previous roles include Director of Instructional Development, where groundbreaking professional learning strategies were developed to improve instructional quality and leadership. Claire also served as Director of Academics - Science, overseeing the implementation of data-driven professional development and curriculum development aimed at elevating student achievement. Prior experience includes positions as Associate Director of Academics - Science, Science Associate, and Science Teacher within the Schoharie Central School District. Claire holds a Master of Science in Science Secondary Education and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University at Albany.
