Ravenel Curry

A native of Greenwood, South Carolina, Ravenel received his bachelor of arts degree from Furman University and an M.B.A. from the University of Virginia. He began his investment career as a security analyst at Morgan Guaranty Trust Company. Formerly a partner at H.C. Wainwright and portfolio manager of the Duke Endowment, Ravenel founded Eagle Capital Management in 1988. He is the chief investment officer.

A resident of New York City, Ravenel is a trustee of the Manhattan Institute, the American Enterprise Institute, the New York Hall of Science, the New York Historical Society, the Duke Endowment and the South Carolina Genetics Endowment. He is a member of The Council on Foreign Relations. He is a former trustee of Furman University and the former chairman of the New Jersey Higher Education Assistance Authority.
