Richard Joyce joined Success Academy in 2019 as Managing Director of the Office of the CEO. In this role, he partners directly with the CEO to streamline organizational management and lead key initiatives to prepare for Success to scale to 100 schools. Rick has extensive experience balancing the demands of growth strategy with operational leadership—for over a decade, he served as Chief Marketing Officer of Perseus Books, overseeing a nearly ten-fold increase in that business. Rick also led Accenture’s Media Strategy practice in the Asia-Pacific region, where he significantly grew the company’s presence and client base. Rick holds a BA in political science from Dartmouth University and an MBA in marketing from Columbia University.
