David Savage

David Savage has a diverse work experience that spans various industries. From 2001 to 2005, they worked as a Third Key Manager at GameStop/EB, where they supported store operations and supervised staff. From 2006 to 2008, David worked at the University of North Texas as a Resident Assistant and Housing Ambassador, taking on responsibilities such as organizing programs, maintaining a presence in the dorms, and giving tours for the housing department. In 2009, they worked as a Sales & Marketing Representative for Sony/ADVANTAGE, driving sales and promoting PlayStation products. David also has experience in the film industry, serving as a Digital Imaging Technician for Tick Tick Bang Productions in 2009 and working on the 2010 feature film Suicide Notes. From 2008 to 2011, they worked as a Freelance Videographer for Savage Media, filming and editing various projects. In 2011, David pursued a Master's degree at The Guildhall at SMU, where they developed skills as a Level Design Student. David then worked as a Game Designer at Neversoft Entertainment from 2013 to 2014, where they gained experience in game design and animation scripting. From 2014 to 2017, David worked at Infinity Ward as a Game Designer, focusing on mission planning, combat scripting, and seeing content through from prototype to release. Since 2017, they have been a Senior Game Designer at Sucker Punch Productions, where they have designed missions and open-world encounters for Ghost of Tsushima and Iki Island. David Savage completed their Bachelor of Arts in RTVF and English at the University of North Texas from 2005 to 2008. David further pursued their education at Southern Methodist University, where they obtained a Master's in Interactive Technology with a specialization in Video Game Level Design from 2011 to 2012.
