Ian Ryan is an accomplished lead writer with extensive experience in the video game industry. Currently serving as Lead Writer at Sucker Punch Productions since July 2017, Ian has contributed to the critically acclaimed titles Ghost of Tsushima and its Director's Cut. Prior to this role, Ian held lead writing positions at Bioware, working on Knights of the Eternal Throne, and at Ubisoft Montréal, where Ian's work on Far Cry Primal garnered a nomination for the 2017 WGA Award for Videogame Writing. Ian's career also includes significant contributions to the Deus Ex Universe at Eidos, creative writing for Game of Thrones Ascent at Disruptor Beam Inc., and various writing roles at BioWare and Midway Games, spanning both project leadership and collaborative content development. Ian holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Cinema Studies and Creative Writing from James Madison University.
