Shannon Keith has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Shannon is the founder and CEO of Sudara, Inc., a benefit corporation that empowers women who have escaped from or are at high risk of human trafficking. Sudara provides employment opportunities and skills training, aiming to create long-term, sustainable change. In 2020, Shannon also became an Activator for SheEO™, a global initiative that supports and celebrates female entrepreneurs working on the UN's Sustainable Development Goals. Prior to their work in social entrepreneurship, Shannon worked as a Sales/Trainer at Aventis Pharmaceuticals. Shannon's experience also includes founding Sudara Freedom Fund in 2006, where they developed a creative business solution for women seeking an exit from the sex trade and successfully grew the program to employ over 180 women and girls.
Shannon Keith attended Pepperdine University from 1992 to 1994 for general education in the undergraduate program. From 1994 to 1996, Shannon studied Theology/Theological Studies and earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree from Gordon College.
