Roman Selmeci

Roman Selmeci is an experienced software engineer currently working at Sudolabs since October 2022. Prior to this role, Roman held positions such as Senior Software Engineer at Assetario and Lead Engineer at Simplicity, where responsibility included designing back-end solutions for a communication platform between municipalities and residents. Roman's expertise extends to research in smart cities and machine learning as a Scientific Researcher at Asseco Central Europe. With a strong foundation in software architecture developed during a long tenure at eDocu a.s. and earlier roles, Roman has also contributed to academia as a PhD student at the Slovak University of Technology, where teaching and research were major components of the role. Roman possesses a solid educational background, holding a PhD in Intelligent Information Systems, a Master's degree in Software Engineering, and a Bachelor's degree in Informatics from the Slovak University of Technology, along with an earlier graduation in Electronic Computer Systems.
