Mathias Biegel

Mathias Biegel's work experience includes various roles in different companies. Mathias started their career in 2015 as an intern at Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit GmbH. In 2016, they worked as a research assistant at Goethe University. In 2017, they joined UmweltBank AG as an intern. At Suedzucker, starting in 2017, they worked as a sales trainee, then became the manager of global markets, developing and executing pricing strategies for financial derivatives. Currently, they are working as the head of commodity risk management at Suedzucker.

Mathias Biegel earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics and Business Administration from the University of Tübingen, where they studied from 2010 to 2014. Following their undergraduate studies, they pursued a Master of Science degree in International Economics and Economic Policy at Goethe University Frankfurt from 2014 to 2017. In addition, they briefly attended the University of Michigan in 2012, although no degree or field of study is specified for this particular period.
