Stephan Theis obtained their Diploma in Nutrition Science from Justus Liebig University Giessen from 1992 to 1997. Stephan then pursued their Ph.D. in Nutrition Science at the same university from 1997 to 1999. After that, they attended the Technical University of Munich from 1999 to 2002, where they earned their Ph.D. degree, specializing in Nutrition Science.
