Yasser Elnagga

Chairman at Suez Cement

Yasser Elnagga is the current Chairman at Suez Cement. Prior to this, they were a Board Member, Chairman, and Chief Executive Officer at Chemical Industries Holding Company from June 2015 to March 2018. Their main duties there included being the coordinator of the Anti-corruption Commission and Chairman of the Coordination Committee of the Project for Provision and Facilitation of an Equal Investment Environment. Yasser was also responsible for assisting the Minister of Investment by supervising the implementation of various tasks, such as improving the efficiency of a mechanism to follow up the resolution of investors’ problems and drawing up strategies policies and objectives of domestic and foreign investments.

Elnagga was successful in coordinating between different bodies taking part in the preparation and organization of the Egypt Economic Development Conference, clearing out all obstacles to organization by managing and directing organizing companies to carry out all contractual obligations. Yasser was also successful in resolving a numerous obstacles of investors and helping improve Egypt’s investment climate. Thanks to their efforts, confidence in the Egyptian economy increased.

Yasser Elnagga holds a Master's Degree in Middle Eastern Studies from the University of Chicago, a Post Graduate Diploma in International Relations & Development from the Institute for Social Studies in the Hague, The Netherlands, and a Post Graduate Certificate in International Relations from the Ministry for Foreign Affairs, Institute for Diplomatic Studies. Yasser also holds a Bachelor's Degree in Economics and Political Science from Cairo University, Faculty of Economics and Politics Sciences, and a High School diploma from St. George College. Yasser Elnagga also holds certifications from the Executive Council on Diplomacy in Certificate of Appreciation and from the World Trade Center Institute in Certificate of Business Appreciation.
