Drew Biondo

Drew Biondo currently serves as the Assistant Deputy Police Commissioner for Intergovernmental Relations with the Suffolk County Police Department since January 2024. Previously, Biondo held positions including member of the Port Jefferson Village Public Safety Committee and Board Member of the Long Island Power Authority, where reappointment occurred in February 2024. Biondo's experience includes serving on the Board of Trustees for the Long Island Power Authority from January 2018 to March 2023 and as Director of Communications at Suffolk County Community College until January 2024. Biondo also worked as Director of Communications and Press Secretary for New York State Senator Kenneth P. LaValle and as Director of Corporate Communications at Delta Financial Corp before its closure. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Communications from Long Island University and previous studies at Marist University.
